So, why the fuck not?
I'm gonna give this another shot. It'll be hit and miss - at best, but my musings may be interesting to some?
But probably not.
Here are some topics that I like:
Bill Cosby
Computer/Technology
PDX Media
Communication Theory
Other topics will be addressed as they piss me off!
I'll add more later

Must be the South...
Really, what the fuck was this guy thinking? You gotta have at least some common sense to be a judge, don't you?

The Reasons are adding up - Quickly!
Well, after living most of my years in more-or-less suburban areas, I joined all the city folk and moved to the Sellwood area about a year ago. Initial logic seemed to justify the move. The house was basically smack in the middle of my two offices (a story for another day), within walking distance of numerous bars, near to the downtown and quite conveniently located
But here we are a year later and I itch to get the hell out of Multnomah county for numerous reasons. I'll start a list. Maybe I'll add to it a little later.
The ridiculous, voter-approved (and, more recently, not repealed) Multnomah County Income Tax!
BUMS! Ain't nothing like the sounds of them pushing shopping carts along broken sidewalks, stopping only to approach doors to ask for your cans and bottles. After I gave one guy about $10 in cans one day, he insisted on buying me a beer and bringing it back to the house. Hey, buddy, I got plenty of beer...see all those cans. And, even if I didn't have a beer, I'd go to the store and get one. Leave me alone and get your money for your malt liquor, drugs and go pass out somewhere -- I haven't seen many cops around here.
There ain't no fucking parking here. None! Not in our driveway, since we have two cars that would be immediately towed away were we to put them on the street. Not (safely, anyway) on the street. We have dumpsters out there and the road isn't wide enough for two passing cars, let alone for a car to pass with two cars parked on opposite sides of the street
Our neighbors hate us! OK, I guess that doesn't really isn't a reason to hate Multnomah County, but when we live elsewhere, we'll have some trees and bushes and space between our neighbors and our raucous weekend behavior.
We're looking for something like this, but located Southeast of Portland. Let me know if you've seen it...

Harsh Words...
As he's been doing for a while now, Bill Cosby had some strong opinions about today's youths to share with Paula Zahn

Well then...
A simple Google News search for Bill Cosby produced the following results from an article titled:
"Bill Cosby Gets Down With Hip-Hop"
Actor/Comedian Bill Cosby and various Hip-Hop artists have joined...[together] to launch Hip-Hop for the P.E.O.P.L.E., a national community service program aimed at underprivileged urban youth.
Oppression in Hip-Hop, huh? Like a lack of access to fine jewelry? Cars? Women?
Well, I guess that's pretty cool...taking a look at the culture itself. Maybe the CD will have classic-looking Fat Albert-esque cover art. So long as it incorporates funky jazz horn lines, I'll probably check it out.
Also, it appears all of Cosby's recent social commentary regarding the black community might be coming at a cost - a cost to Cosby's pocketbook.
A couple of things:
A) I've got to work on regaining some of my very limited formating capabilities
B) It's gonna be tough to keep the BC news coming, but I'll try.

It's been a while
Recently I've heard complaints that this damn thing hasn't been updated recently.
Here's why.
- Broken Computer -- So - somehow - I managed to fry my motherboard; I know how, but Best Buy doesn't, so I won't mention specifics here.
- Work -- It sucks - leaving me little time for other things - also, by the time I get done with all my work shit, I'm usally pretty drunk and sleepy.
- Laziness -- I admit it. I haven't felt like posting for a while -- But lately I've made more time for myself and for *special* time with my computer - GRANT - that I'm going to try again.
I'm not even sure if any past readers will still take the time to check it out, but I'm back, Bitch!
